Flash Step — PvP Mobility Mastery

Flash Step is the defining PvP skill in Haze Seas. Mastering it separates good players from great ones.

How to Unlock

1. Reach Level 200
2. Find the Flash Step Master hidden in the bamboo forest
3. Complete his speed trial — navigate the obstacle course in under 45 seconds
4. Cost: 100,000 Beli

Mechanics

• Cooldown: 3 seconds base, scales with agility stat
• Range: ~20 studs in the direction you're facing
• I-frames: 0.2 seconds of invincibility during the dash

Advanced Techniques

Step Cancel: Activate Flash Step, then immediately use a skill to cancel the end animation. This lets you transition from dodging to attacking instantly.

Reverse Step: Flash Step backward through an enemy to appear behind them. Devastating when paired with a quick combo starter.

Double Step: With max agility, the cooldown drops to ~1.5 seconds, enabling rapid repositioning.

PvP Applications

• Bait out enemy skills, Flash Step through them, punish during cooldown
• Use Reverse Step to escape corner pressure
• Chase down runners by Step Canceling into Stampede (Black Leg V2)
